These are what I would consider to be the most basic, bare-bones questions of character creation.
- What would completely break your character?
- What was the best thing in your character’s life?
- What was the worst thing in your character’s life?
- What seemingly insignificant memories stuck with…
A commission for the talented Bernice Gordon, of her character Gudrun! Gudrun was tough on a number of levels. Finding the line between obviously human facial features, rabbit and fawn while maintaining a sort of forest-spirity vibe took some doing.
Secondly trying to maintain the androgyny of the original (Gudrun has no gender) was an interesting challenge - hopefully we got close! Wii also needed to be able to stand bipedally or quad. That was about the easiest part to manage!
Gudrun’s, hands and feet are sculpted originals, painted and sealed and assembled using ball and socket armature for a nice realistic range of motion. Gudrun’s body is faux fur, with wefted accents and a super fluffy chest & tail that I am particularly fond of (the term fuzzbutt may have been tossed around!).
Character & design belong to Gudrun’s creator, Bernice Gordon.
This one was a pleasure to work on, thank you Bernice!
